Dirty 30 Girls Weekend Prep

This weekend, I'm taking off my "Mommy Paige" hat and returning simply to "Paige" as I head to the east coast to celebrate my BFF's 30th birthday at the beach.

I love this group of girlfriends. They are, without question, a guaranteed good time. We start dance parties in the street because we feel like it (no music? No worries, we'll scream sing Ke$ha and make our own!) We've been known to hit up a sub shop after last call, and order a pulled pork SALAD with extra pickles on it... Because hey, those calories count too, nawwhutimean?

You know; those type of friends.

I haven't left Henry for more than a few hours, so this will be weird! I'm not sure I remember who pre-mommy Paige is anymore, but I'm hoping she makes a stellar appearance for the weekend. Since my typical yoga/lounge pants and tank top will not do at the beach or with the girlfriends, here's what I'm planning on wearing for my all-too-brief return to normal Paige:

I'm thinking this white eyelet dress I recently got will be great for the plane ride with a cardigan. It's super comfortable and while too dressy for the beach, it's perfect for being in the general public. I like to fly in close-toed shoes since planes get so cold. (Why do they get so cold?!)

I've more or less lived in this dress since I got it. LOVE it! I'm thinking this will work for a night out. Beach bars are casual, especially where we're going, and the shoes are patent leather... Key for being able to wipe them down after drinks get spilled on me on the dance floor we're about to tear up!

I got this beach cover-up for our trip to Maui this past February. I ordered it two sizes up so that it would fit over my preggo belly. Looks like it will still work for this trip! Should I be happy about that...? Meh.

Other than that, I'm going to throw some bikinis, shorts and tee's in my suitcase and be good to go! I'm a minimalist and NEVER over pack. Usually, if I don't want to wear what I brought, I just borrow something from someone else. That's what girlfriends are for, right? Right.

I just stated I wasn't an over-packer... I lied, I over-pack bikinis. Because have you ever had to put on a wet suit?!?! Yeah. No. Gross. All bikinis are Victoria's Secret, except the pink one in the bottom left, that's (surprisingly!) Old Navy.

East coast beachfront, I'm coming for you!
